I am speaking to many people lately about what is happing in the local carbon market. There is a lot of confusion and activity going on regarding reporting, standardization, registries, compliance/voluntary, and verification standards.
I was making a list of acronyms that are somewhat confusing to newbies to the US market and I hope these will be helpful. Links to the bodies and/or news are added if I think they meet adequate levels of usefulness for the newbies.
